Allen Ray Was born in South Dakota and was moved with parents to The Minneapolis area of Minnesota where He grew Up.   Started traveling in my later years to Port Aransas Texas where I stay 6 months out of the year. Was given my first guitar at Age12 from a Neighbor living behind my folk's restaurant. I was a casual plyer until we traveled to Texas and fell in love with Country Music. Got my first chance to play for seniors in Minnesota and South Dakota. I auditioned for the Owner of The Gaff Bar and Tavern in Port Aransas Texas and began playing publicly there weekly. Been playing there since as well as many other Places. There have been some changes along the path of my music including the addition of a band in 2021.The Blue Heron Band with Art Flores Professional Drummer for the Army Band for over 26 years. Watch for the Drum Solo Right before Intermission it will blow your socks off. Arts been with me for two years and he's the best in the business. 2023 brings the addition of Chris Tapia to the Blue Heron Band. Chris is a fabulous professional musician backing up the band on the base guitar he will also add some lead guitar and some vocals.
